Sears gets financing from hedge fund

Transform Holdco, the parent company of Sears and Kmart, has secured $100 million in financing from Brigade Capital Management as the retailer’s business continues to struggle coming out of bankruptcy. Brigade has extended loans to other struggling retailers in the past including Barneys New York and Gymboree.
