Millions more file for unemployment benefits

A total of 6.65 million people filed for unemployment benefits for the week ending March 28, well above the 3.76 million projected by analysts. The government revised the number of people filing jobless claims upward from 3.03 million to 3.31 million for the week ending March 21.
