Tyson chairman says ‘the food supply chain is breaking’

Tyson Foods has published a full-page ad in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, The New York Times and Washington Post warning that supplies of beef, chicken and pork will be limited in grocery stores as the company is forced to close meat processing plants due to coronavirus outbreaks in the facilities. “The food supply chain is breaking,” wrote board chairman John Tyson in the ad.
