COVID-19 saliva testing used by NBA could be a game changer

The SalivaDirect test used by the National Basketball Association as the league restarted play is 90 percent as accurate as nose and throat swab tests and can be processed in a matter of hours. The test, created by Yale University researchers, could be used to analyze as many as 200,000 samples a day.
