Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen believes that grocery prices are beginning to moderate and that his company’s customers have found “they actually enjoy” cooking at home. The supermarket giant, which posted a 15 percent same-store sales gain in the second quarter, is looking for continued strong sales ahead.
