Dick’s increases holiday hiring, expects jump in online orders

Dick’s Sporting Goods will hire 9,000 associates to work in stores this holiday season, 1,000 more than last year, as the retailer expects to see a sizable jump in online orders. The chain expects the new hires to work fulfilling curbside pickup orders, ship-to-store orders and working store registers.
