AP investigation ties Girl Scout cookies to child labor

An AP investigation has found that one of the makers of Girl Scout cookies, Ferrero, and other US food manufacturers, such as Unilever, PepsiCo, Kellogg’s and Nestle, are linked to child labor and unsustainable palm oil use in Indonesia and Malaysia. In some cases the child labor appears to be forced and the children are unpaid or paid very little.
