Dolce & Gabbana sues fashion bloggers for $600M
March 8, 2021
Dolce & Gabbana has filed a defamation suit in an Italian court against two bloggers in the U.S. who reposted anti-Asian comments attributed to one of the designers at the company. The fashion brand faced a boycott after comments made in a chat room were made public, compelling the two designers to later issue an apology. Counsel for the bloggers claim the lawsuit is nothing more than an attempt to silence critics of the company.
