Corporations cut office space as more employees work from home

A growing list of major corporations are looking to sublease office space as they find that employees have remained productive while working from their homes. Sublease activity was up 40 percent last year, according to CBRE. Technology companies, which had been driving office space growth in recent years, are now out ahead of subleasing activity, according to Phil Ryan, director of U.S. office research at JLL.
