Walgreens changing COVID-19 vaccine schedule to align with CDC guidelines

Walgreens has been administering the second dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine a week later than guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The drugstore giant said it will switch from administering the second shot four weeks after the first to three as the CDC and the manufacturer have recommended.
