Bed Bath & Beyond posts 4Q sales and profit increases

Bed Bath & Beyond posted a four percent increase in same-store sales (up six percent in its namesake chain) and earnings of eight cents a shared, compared to a loss of 53 cents last year. Online revenues for the retailer were up 86 percent during the quarter, with sales at the bedbathandbeyond.com up 99 percent.
