Walmart’s Flipkart raises $3.6B in latest funding round

Walmart’s Flipkart has raised $3.6 billion in a new funding round, bringing its valuation up to $37.6 billion. The Indian e-commerce company was acquired by Walmart for $16 billion in 2018. The U.S. retailer will hold about three-quarters of Flipkart’s shares after the funding round is complete.
