Nordstrom buys stake in Asos’ Topshop and other brands

Nordstrom has acquired a minority stake in the online sales unit of Asos, which includes the Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and HIIT brands. The deal gives Nordstrom access to fashions favored by younger consumers while providing Asos with a physical footprint in the U.S. market.
