Howard Schultz of Starbucks and Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are two employees who have returned to work for their former employees. So-called boomerang employees are not as rare as you might think — 4.5 percent of newly hired workers fall into that group, according to LinkedIn.
