Unemployment falls to a pandemic low

The U.S. economy added 431,000 jobs in March with unemployment falling to 3.6 percent, the lowest level since the pandemic began in 2020, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The number of people working from home in March fell to 10 percent from 13 percent in February.
