Juul settles thousands of lawsuits

Juul Labs came under scrutiny after an investigation found that the e-cigarette brand targeted underage consumers in its marketing efforts. A spate of suits followed the revelation. Juul has reached a settlement on more than 5,000 lawsuits brought against the company for an unspecified amount. The settlement is expected to enable Juul to continue operating after the suits brought its viability into question.
