Lowe’s offers cautious outlook for 2023

Lowe’s fourth-quarter U.S. same-store sales fell 0.7 percent. The home improvement retailer expects total sales of between $88 billion and $90 billion this year, compared to the $90.48 expected by analysts. Lowe’s estimates earnings per share of between $13.60 and $14, compared to Wall Street’s expectation of $13.79.
