Federated, May Settle Without Admitting Guilt

Federated Department Stores and May Department Stores have agreed to pay nearly $3 million to settle charges being investigated by the New York Attorney General’s office that the two companies conspired to pressure Lennox and Waterford Wedgewood USA into not selling to Bed Bath & Beyond.
