UPS and drivers tentatively agree on deal that will put AC in trucks

UPS and the Teamsters have reached a tentative agreement to equip delivery trucks with air conditioning and take other measures to protect against the heat. The parcel delivery giant has said it will include in-cab air conditioning on all vehicles it purchases as of Jan. 1, 2024. Existing vehicles will have two fans installed to give drivers some relief from the heat.
