Wal-Mart says former vice president, Jared Bowen, is no whistle-blower and it stands behind its decision to terminate his employment. Mr. Bowen has asked the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Arkansas to investigate whether Wal-Mart violated the Thompson Memorandum, issued by the Department of Justice to protect corporate whisteblowers.
