CVS Shuts Site to Protect Consumer Information

Katherine Albrecht, founder of Consumers Against Supermarket Privacy Invasion and Numbering, said her organization found it could access any CVS customers’ records if it had their loyalty card number. CVS responded by shutting down one of its services to fix the security flaw.
