Union commissioned studies conducted by the University of Illinois-Chicago Center for Urban Economic Development and the University of California-Berkeley found Wal-Mart is charging consumers the wrong price for items purchased at a higher rate than deemed acceptable by the National Institute for Standards and Technology.
