The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning that consumers may suffer an allergic reaction to an ingredient, persulfate, in denture cleaners. Makers of denture cleaners including GlaxoSmithKline and Procter & Gamble maintain the products are safe when used as directed.
