Krispy Kreme Announces National Doughnut Day Deals

Krispy Kreme is celebrating National Doughnut Day with fantastic deals for all its customers.

Per the brand’s website, Krispy Kreme will allow millions of guests around the world to enjoy “Your Favorite Free.” This means that Americans can receive any “favorite” doughnut of their choice, free, with no purchase necessary on Friday, June 7.

Also, if you’re in the mood for more than one, Krispy Kreme will sell a $2 Original Glazed dozen with the purchase of any dozen in-store and through the drive-thru at participating Krispy Kreme shops.

“Krispy Kreme fans look forward to National Doughnut Day every year, and this year they can get their favorite for free!” said Dave Skena, global chief brand officer. “It’s a sweet day all around. We can’t wait to thank everyone for their love of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.”

Food & Wine reports that there is a catch to the free doughnut promotion. Any specialty, limited-run rollouts by the company will not be free.

This exciting announcement comes on the heels of an upcoming partnership between McDonald’s and the sweet treat giant. Fresh doughnuts will be available daily at McDonald’s restaurants across the U.S. beginning in late 2024. Nationwide availability of the promotion is expected by the end of 2026.

Each day, three of Krispy Kreme’s most popular doughnuts will be delivered fresh to McDonald’s restaurants. They’ll be available individually or in boxes of six, starting at breakfast and lasting throughout the day while supplies last.

Krispy Kreme continues to evolve by via the introduction of new items into the marketplace. In May 2024, customers enjoyed doughnuts celebrating country superstar Dolly Parton. The music giant shared details of her specialty treats, which included Dolly Dazzler, Peachy Keen Cobbler, Banana Puddin’ Pie, and Chocolate Crème Pie doughnuts.

The brand encourages customers to share how they will celebrate National Doughnut Day and the “Your Favorite Free” promotion by sharing photos on social media, using #KrispyKreme, and tagging @krispykreme.
