Reynolds Says Tobacco Oversight Too Much for FDA

Reynolds American is running ads in what it sees as key districts hoping to bring enough pressure on Congress to forestall a bill that would give the Food and Drug Administration control over tobacco. Reynolds’ larger rival, Philip Morris, has come out in support of proposed legislation that would give the FDA oversight for cigarettes and other tobacco products.
