New this season is the brand’s Smoked Butterscotch Flavored Coffee, available in roast & ground and K-Cup pods. It is described as having “rich notes of salted brown butter and caramelized sugar.”
The reintroduction to the popular fall flavors comes after Starbucks released its Q3 fiscal 2024 report. The report outlined a plan for the company to continue to “build on our enduring strengths and reaccelerate growth in our U.S. business” after a disappointing quarter.
The company plans to continue to meet new demand “through a relentless focus on improvements to our operations and on elevating the experience we create for our partners and customers.” Starbucks also outlined ways to attract new customers with the introduction of new products, such as its Smoked Butterscotch Flavored Coffee. Lastly, the company plans to continue its efforts to serve up the ultimate consumer experience as it works toward winning price-conscious customers and retaining existing ones.
In the report, CEO Laxman Narasimhan explained, “Our three-part action plan is beginning to work and driving operational improvements that we expect to improve financial performance. Our growing culture of focused innovation and relentless execution continues to enhance our capabilities, while helping return the business to sustainable growth.”
Starbucks currently has more than 39,000 stores worldwide.
