Judge Rules for eBay in Tiffany Trademark Suit

Tiffany might consider bringing its next suit against eBay to France. U.S. District Judge Richard J. Sullivan ruled that it’s the responsibility of brands such as Tiffany to protect their trademark and not companies such as eBay, which may have a “generalized knowledge that trademark infringement might be occurring on their websites.”
