Dunkin’ and BARK Celebrate 5 Years of Partnership With Pumpkin Spice Dog Toys

September 18, 2024

There has never been a sweeter, more cuddly combination than Dunkin’ and BARK’s partnership. For five years, the coffee chain and pet industry leader have teamed up to create custom, themed dog toys inspired by Dunkin’ and its iconic brand, and this year, they’ve released a collection that’s perfect for pumpkin spice season.

This series of limited-edition dog toys “inspired by Dunkin’s fall flavors and designed from a dog’s perspective by BARK’s in-house design team” will bring joy to dogs and dog parents alike while raising funds for the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. To receive one of these toys, Dunkin’ guests just have to make a donation of a certain amount to the foundation online at bark.co/Dunkin or at select in-person locations.

Since launching their partnership in 2020, the companies have raised over $10 million for the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. For the first time, pups can enjoy the coffee chain’s popular fall treats as dog toys during this fifth year. According to a press release about the collaboration, four fall-inspired toys will keep furry friends entertained for hours:

  • Dunkin’ Signature Latte Toy: This fluff-packed squeaker toy with a crazy crinkle and a tuggable T-shirt rope is for dogs who love PSL season just as much as their human does. It is available with a $15 donation.
  • Dunkin’ Snackin’ Bacon Dog Toy: This multi-part toy with two squeakers is perfect for pups craving a crispy, crackling good time. It is available with a $13 donation.
  • Dunkin’ Pumpkin Donut Dog Toy: This toy features a hidden surprise inside — a pumpkin pie-scented Super Chewer donut made with natural rubber. It is for dogs who play tough and is available with a $15 donation.
  • Dunkin’ Mocha Latte Dog Toy: For dogs who prefer more traditional coffee flavors, this toy features a crazy crinkle, a tuggable T-shirt rope, and a surprise toy inside. It is available with a $15 donation online only.

Dave Stangle, vice president of brand marketing at BARK, stated in the press release, “We’re excited to continue our Dunkin’ and Joy in Childhood Foundation partnership for the fifth year in a row and create more custom dog toys inspired by Dunkin’s iconic brand that support a good cause. This collaboration allows us to connect with more dogs and dog parents by tapping into daily rituals many people bring their dog on, like coffee runs. For the first time, dogs can join in on the pumpkin spice fandom we see towards the end of every summer and get their pumpkin spice fix, just like humans.”

Mollie Collum, director of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, added, “While Dunkin’ guests are fueling up for the day, they can also share the pumpkin spice fun with their dogs by picking up the new, seasonal BARK toy, knowing their donation helps support children in need. Together with BARK, we’ve raised more than $10 million to bring joy to kids facing hunger and illness. This latest collection will expand our reach and deepen the nationwide impact of our foundation’s programs.”
