Elfers Out as Lord & Taylor CEO

Jane Elfers, who has been widely credited with turning Lord & Taylor around, is out as CEO of the chain. Ms. Elfers was forced out as part of a plan by L&T owner NRDC Equity Partners to combine store operations of the chain with those of Fortunoff and Hudson’s Bay Company.
