Popeyes and DoorDash Team Up for Football Season With Tailgating Bundle and Wing Truck Tour

Are you watching football or tailgating this season? Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is teaming up with DoorDash for a Tailgating Bundle, so look no further than the fast-food restaurant favorite for all your classic football food and snack needs.
Nation’s Restaurant News reports that the Tailgating Bundle will be offered beginning Oct. 5, 2024. The bundle features 24-piece wings (bone-in or boneless) with up to four flavor selections, three regular sides, and four dipping sauces at 25% off. Prices vary by location.
Additionally, customers can enter to win a Popeyes x DoorDash Wing Truck to show up at their location. The contest’s official website explains, “Let Popeyes come thru for you and Krewe with a limited edition Wing Truck, making your tailgate unforgettable. In the meantime, make every game one to remember when you order the Tailgate Bundle through DoorDash starting at $24.99.”
The Popeyes x Door Dash Wing Truck Is Hitting the Road
The official Popeyes x Door Dash Wing Truck Tour will make select stops this fall. Thus far, the following dates and locations have been scheduled:
- Oct. 12: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- Oct. 19: Greensboro, North Carolina
- Oct. 26: Atlanta, Georgia
- Nov. 2: Tallahassee, Florida (HBCU)
- Nov. 16: Athens, Georgia
- Nov. 30: Columbus, Ohio
Bart LaCount, Popeyes’ chief marketing officer, said in a statement, “At Popeyes, we know the excitement of game day goes beyond the field. It’s also about bringing people together to enjoy great food and great moments. And, as the ‘Official Wing of Watching Football,’ we’re committed to being a part of every fan’s experience, no matter where they choose to watch.”
In November 2023, Popeyes added wings to its menu. The flavors currently include Classic, Sweet ‘N Smokey Chipotle, Honey BBQ, Roasted Garlic Parmesan, Honey Lemon Pepper, Signature Hot, and Sweet N’ Spicy. Upon the promotion’s announcement, Sami Siddiqui, president of Popeyes North America, said in a statement, “At Popeyes, we like to challenge the status quo and are consistently redefining what’s expected from fast food brands. Ghost Pepper Wings were an overnight success, followed by the addition of Sweet ‘N Spicy wings, our best performing product since the infamous chicken sandwich. We know our guests want even more bold Louisiana-inspired wing flavors to choose from and are excited to see our new wings line-up take flight.”
