HEB San Antonio is a Plus is Twice the Size of Previous Location

The new location for the HEB San Antonio Plus! supermarket is located at:

9238 N.LOOP 1604 WEST
SAN ANTONIO, TX 78249-2577
Corporate #623

This is a largely positive development for communities in the Texas area providing the added convenience of one of America’s top grocery chains in their area.

The area surrounding the new Plus! store has been San Antonio’s largest growing community since the 1980s and continues to record 1/3 of all new housing in the far West Side according to My San Antonio News.

Those who would work for the grocery retail company can also expect good things, as HEB is the second-best retailer to work for according to Glass Door reviews.

The nearby adjacent HEB store was closed down to make room for this new Plus! store, and will be leased out.

Currently, according to supermarket news, HEB is the “fifth-largest U.S. supermarket operator by sales, totaling annual sales of approximately $32 billion. Overall, the San Antonio, Texas-based grocer operates more than 420 stores, including over 360 in Texas and more than 50 in northeastern Mexico through a joint venture.”
