Burger King Is Bringing Back a Beloved Dessert After More Than a Decade. Here Are the Details.
November 30, 2024
Burger King is engaging in a bit of nostalgia with its latest menu item. The fast-food giant is bringing back a beloved dessert after more than a decade of it being off the menu. Let’s take a look at the details of this newest addition that’s sure to be a treat for customers.
Burger King Is Bringing Back the ‘Cini Minis’
Taste of Country is reporting that after being discontinued over 10 years ago, Burger King’s Cini Minis are again available. However, it wasn’t easy to get here. A Change.org petition was established by super Cini Mini lovers to revive the snack-sized cinnamon rolls. The petition was signed by more than 6,000 followers, and their efforts had an impact.
However, a new menu item was a big deal in 1998. At that point, Burger King introduced Cini Minis, a brand-new dessert, to its menu. Except for a brief 2018 GrubHub-only debut, the wildly famous small cinnamon buns have been absent from BK menus for 12 years, and customers want them back.
Burger King has revived the Cini Minis as a 4-pack for just $2.49, which is wonderful news for those who enjoy little cinnamon buns. However, not everyone can benefit from that good news. You can enjoy the delight of popping delicious Cini Minis in your mouth after dipping them in that enticingly rich vanilla frosting if you reside in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Unfortunately, for the time being, they are only available at two Burger King stores in Florida. Fast-food businesses regularly re-release classic favorites in specific markets as a test, even though there hasn’t been an official announcement. Perhaps, just possibly, BK will bring the Cini Minis back to the country if they do incredibly well.
Other Brand-New Menu Items
For Burger King fans who want new menu items nationwide, meanwhile, there’s no shortage of options to choose from. Earlier this month, the fast-food giant introduced Pickle Fries nationwide.
The fried dill pickle spears are breaded and battered with a delicious seasoning and topped with sauce from Hidden Valley Ranch. They are available nationwide in a single size while supplies last.
Customers have so far expressed some satisfaction with Burker King’s Pickle Fries. In a review, one TikToker stated: “You just really can’t go wrong with a pickle breaded and fried, dipped in Ranch. And these are hot and fresh too. Very crispy, nice, and salty…Now listen, between pickle chips and pickle fries, these aren’t the best I ever had, but I’m gonna give them a 7.5 out of 10.”
Burger King’s Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, one of the three fan-submitted Million Dollar Whopper finalists, seems to be the ideal match for these new fries. The three contest finalists were added to the menu by the fast-food juggernaut on Thursday, Nov. 14. Then, fans started selecting which of the three burgers — the Mexican Street Corn Whopper, the Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper, and the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper — should take home the $1 million prize.
Burger King also recently announced that it would be selling 1 million original Whoppers for just $1 beginning on Nov. 12 as a “thanks a million” to BK fans who participated in the Million Dollar Whopper Contest.
Additionally, in October, Burger King and Hidden Valley Ranch announced a partnership to sell 8-ounce “Big Dip” containers of the sauce, which is a significant departure from the standard 1-ounce serving. Big Cups have been free when paired with any sandwich at a few locations in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Houston, and San Francisco since Oct. 16.
