Burger King Kicked Off Its ’31 Days of Deals’ With Discounts and Freebies. Here’s What Else It’s Planning

December 4, 2024

Burger King has kicked off its 31 Days of Deals in celebration of the holiday season, starting with a discounted Whopper on Dec. 1, and this Friday, Dec. 6, customers can get a free cheeseburger with a $1 purchase. But that isn’t all the fast-food giant is doing for its customers. Let’s take a look at what else it has planned.

Burger King Has All the Best Holiday Deals

According to USA Today, with its 31 Days of Deals, Burger King is “spreading the holiday cheer” and commemorating the “most Whopper-ful time of the year.”

The BK app is offering “exclusive digital deals” through Dec. 31 that include discounts on Walmart+’s annual membership, free food and beverages, and festive holiday merchandise.

“Guests can redeem the daily deals by exploring the BK Village, an immersive digital experience in the BK app that features a snowy, cheery town filled with fun surprises and activities,” the restaurant said in a news release obtained by the outlet.

By exploring the BK Village, Burger King is offering customers the opportunity to “win exciting prizes” beyond the daily deals, including a year’s worth of Whoppers (given in the form of a $400 BK gift card).

“Users can ‘deck the halls’ of their holiday home, their way, by completing activities and collecting holiday and Burger King brand inspired décor,” the restaurant said in a statement to the outlet. “By collecting daily decor for their virtual Royal Cabin — their holiday home — and completing their streak, users can be entered to win exciting prizes like Whopper Sandwiches for a year among others.”

Only Royal Perks members are eligible to enter the “Burger King most Whopper-ful Time of the Year” contest, even though no purchase is required to do so. The sweepstakes regulations state that customers must play each day of each entry period in order to receive an entry. The starting dates of entry are Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15, and/or Dec. 22.

The Fast-Food Giant Also Brought Back a Beloved Dessert

Recently, the fast-food giant made headlines when it announced that it was re-introducing a beloved dessert item to its menu following more than a decade of its absence.

Burger King’s Cini Minis are back on the menu after being dropped more than a decade ago. But getting here wasn’t simple. Cini Mini fans started a Change.org petition to bring the snack-sized cinnamon buns back. More than 6,000 followers signed the petition, and their efforts made a difference.

In 1998, a new menu item like the Cini Minis was a major deal. The popular little cinnamon buns have been missing from BK menus for 12 years now, except for a brief 2018 GrubHub-only reappearance, and people want them back.

For those who love small cinnamon buns, the restaurant has brought back the Cini Minis in a four-pack for just $2.49. But such wonderful news isn’t available to everyone. They’re currently only available in two locations. If you live in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Florida, you can experience the joy of popping Cini Minis in your mouth after dipping them in that sweet vanilla frosting.

Despite not making an official statement, fast-food companies frequently test releasing historical favorites in particular markets. If they are successful, BK may bring the Cini Minis back to the entire country.

For Burger King aficionados who don’t live in Florida, there are other new menu items available to try, like the Pickle Fries that launched earlier this month. Breaded and battered with a flavorful seasoning, the fried dill pickle spears are topped with Hidden Valley Ranch sauce. While supplies last, they are offered in a single size across the nation.
