Burger King Is Giving Away Free Onion Rings for St. Patrick’s Day

March 14, 2025

Burger King has even more deals for its inflation-weary customers, and this time, the popular fast-food chain is giving away free onion rings in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

PEOPLE reports that customers can get a free order of onion rings of any size on March 17 with a purchase of $1 or more, according to the fast-food restaurant. Furthermore, Burger King’s Combo Combinations campaign, which runs until April 11, allows customers to “have it their way” by providing free fries upgrades to Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, or Churro Fries.

To take advantage of the offer, shoppers need to download the BK app or visit bk.com and create a Royal Perks account. Before they order, they need to activate the deal on the “offers” tab. Burger King stated that only one promotion may be claimed per account, which is not good for delivery orders.

Burger King Recently Brought Jalapeño Bites Back to the Menu

After a three-year absence, Burger King is bringing back a fan-favorite appetizer, and fans are overjoyed.

On March 6, Jalapeño Cheddar Bites became available nationwide. However, some customers claim to have previously bought them.

The breaded snacks contain fiery jalapeño and melting cheddar cheese. Jalapeño Cheddar Bites normally cost $1.69 for four pieces and $2.69 for eight, although pricing may vary by area.

These reintroduced Jalapeño Cheddar Bites are part of the chain’s spring menu.

Also included is the new Steakhouse Bacon Whopper, which comes with Burger King’s iconic flame-broiled burger, crispy onions, bacon, Swiss cheese, creamy peppercorn aioli, lettuce, tomato, and a side of A.1. Steak Sauce.

The highly anticipated Fiery Big Fish Sandwich, which includes a panko-crusted filet, tartar sauce, pickles, and lettuce on a brioche bun, will also be available at some locations.

The fast-food behemoth is proud of the Steakhouse Whopper, which debuted late last month.

Christy Skylis, VP of brand marketing and culinary at Burger King US&C, stated at the time, “We are always listening to our guests to find out how they want to customize America’s Favorite Burger, which is why we’re so excited about the new Steakhouse Bacon Whopper.”

“This creation is the result of our passionate Guests and Whopper lovers, and we look forward to bringing even more Guest created and inspired creations to our menu later this year and in the future — so keep the great ideas coming!” Skylis added.
