Sam’s Club Says a Grazing Experience Enhances Easter Feasting
March 24, 2025
Sam’s Club is changing the Easter meal experience for its members.
The big-box club has revealed that shoppers would rather enjoy a grazing experience than a sit-down meal for Easter. The Member’s Mark Community — which currently has 50,000 members — shared details with Sam’s Club that Easter is no longer about one large meal but many smaller ones throughout the day, from breakfast through lunch and dinner.
In a press release, Julie Barber, executive vice president and chief merchant of Sam’s Club, wrote, “This year, we’re shaking up tradition by turning the classic menu into an all-day grazing experience — a shift inspired not by trends, but by what our members truly crave. We’ve tapped directly into how they celebrate, what matters most to them, and the new traditions they’re embracing.”
Barber added, “What did they tell us? That they want delicious options for feasting and for grazing, that it’s not just about one meal, and that it’s about creating a day-long experience filled with food, fun and community. We went all in, creating an Easter shopping experience that includes brunch essentials, all-day snacking favorites and grilling must-haves for effortless gatherings with friends and family.”
Sam’s Club Introduces Items Perfect for Any Easter Meal
According to Barber, the Sam’s Club community of shoppers “want to start the day with a big, satisfying brunch and then graze throughout the day, mixing sweet and savory bites.” She added that this particular desire led the company to create a series of meal solutions that satisfy all of its customers’ holiday cravings. These include items such as:
- Member’s Mark Egg Bites: Café-quality, high-protein brunch option made with uncured bacon, three kinds of cheese, and cage-free eggs.
- Charcuterie for Every Occasion: From traditional meat and cheese platters to creative muffin boards and festive holiday trays, members agree that everything tastes better on a board. That’s why the company curated must-have essentials to help customers craft the perfect spread for any gathering or snacking style.
- Club of the Community Delights: Indulge in curated regional favorites tailored to please Sam’s Club members across all locations. From the delectable Blueberry Pie for the Northeast Region to the irresistible Cherry Pie for other members, the company’s selection is sure to satisfy any craving.
Sam’s Club members have also expressed opinions about the meal’s centerpiece. While ham is traditionally served for Easter, other options are coming to the forefront. Barber stated that Sam’s shoppers wanted more variety in the meal. The store found that 20% of beef eaters shared they would rather eat ribeye on the holiday, so it made sure that the protein selection at Sam’s would meet a variety of needs.
Additionally, the store’s Mac and Cheese as well as Member’s Mark Carrot Cake continued to remain must-haves for Easter tables each year.
