Wal-Mart Target of ‘Living Wage’ Proposal in Chicago

Wal-Mart and other retailers that benefit “directly or indirectly” from subsidies from the city of Chicago would be required to pay workers at $11.03 an hour, according to a new “living wage” ordinance proposed by Ald. Freddrenna Lyle.
