Part of McD’s transformation will be a change in top leadership
September 1, 2016
Mike Andres, president of McDonald’s U.S. business, will be replaced at year-end by former Kraft executive Chris Kempczinski, who has had the job of McDonald’s executive vice president since last year. Mr. Andres is credited with the successful all-day breakfast strategy and other initiatives designed to turn around the fast-food giant’s performance. The announcement follows the departure early last month of Chief Administrative Officer Pete Bensen, a 20-year McD’s veteran.
