Is organic Gatorade an oxymoron? Possibly not.

PepsiCo will test sales of its new Gatorade “G Organic” line in some Kroger stores and will expand the test to select grocery, natural and c-stores over the next few weeks. The brand reportedly spent two years researching the formula, which is being introduced in strawberry, lemon and mixed berry flavors. Gatorade still enjoys 70 percent of the sports drink market, but competition from better-for-you alternates such as coconut water is encroaching on its dominance.
