H&M blames the weather for sales slump

Hennes & Mauritz said unusually warm weather at the beginning of September has hurt the company’s sales and may affect its performance in the current quarter. The Swedish fast-fashion retailer reported a decline in profits for the quarter ending August 31 due to markdowns on merchandise, e-commerce investments and unfavorable currency exchange rates.
