Former American Apparel CEO gets a new gig

Paula Schneider, former CEO of American Apparel, who helped to bring that troubled chain out of bankruptcy, has landed a new job as chief executive of DG Premium Brands whose brands include 7 For All Mankind, Ella Moss and Splendid. Ms. Schneider, who replaced the controversial founder Dov Charney, told attendees at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit that she received death threats at her former job, requiring her to have a bodyguard.
