Study: Consumer’s may spend as much online as in-store this holiday

Based on its survey of 5,000 consumers, Deloitte has predicted that shoppers will spend about 47 percent of their holiday budgets online, an amount roughly equivalent to what they plan to spend in stores. These figures, when first derived two years ago, were weighted 52 percent/40 percent in favor of physical store shopping.
