Amazon plans to put touchscreen on new Echo device

The next version of Amazon’s Echo device will include a seven-inch touchscreen and higher-grade speakers. The device will be larger than the current cylindrical model and tilt upwards so people can see the screen when standing. The new Echo is expected to be rolled out in the first quarter of next year.
