John Buell, who took on the interim role of CEO at Limited Stores following the loss of CEO Diane Ellis to Chico’s two months ago, has accepted a position with Altar’d State, a Tennessee-based women’s fashion and home decor chain. Limited’s days may be (ur…) limited. Management announced last week that the company would be forced to sell or shut down the chain and would lay off all 248 HQ employees in Albany, NY.
