Instead of focusing on drawing more Millennials into department stores, operators might make better use of their time considering how their best customers behave so they can cater to those wants and needs. A study by Viant, rather than breaking out spenders by demographics, has identified common behaviors, such as the penchant to give a lot of gifts, the desire for seamless cross-channel services, and likelihood to do mobile shopping.
