Nordstrom names chief innovation officer

The department store operator has named Geevy Thomas, who most recently served as president of Nordstrom Rack, to the new position of chief innovation officer. Mr. Thomas, a longtime executive at the company, is being charged with finding ways to better integrate digital and mobile to better serve customers in the chain’s full-line stores.
