Same-store sales increase can’t keep Chipotle from earnings fall

Chipotle’s same-store sales improved 14.7 percent in December against low comps, but profits fell 76 percent from $68 million to $16 million as the company continues to try and rebound from food borne illness outbreaks that have damaged its reputation.
