Toys ‘R’ Us cuts corporate jobs

Toys “R” Us has eliminated about 250 jobs at its corporate headquarters in Wayne, NJ. The layoffs represent between 10 and 15 percent of its corporate staff. Sales at the chain’s U.S. stores fell 2.5 percent for the nine-weeks ending Dec. 31.
