McD’s to drop drink prices to drive traffic

McDonald’s plans to sell $1 sodas and $2 McCafe drinks in a promotion designed to attract more patrons to the fast-food chain’s restaurants. The company expects sales growth to be around 1.5 percent this year and 1.6 percent in 2018 following a 2.4 percent gain in 2016.
