Retailers are losing money on online orders

Only 10 percent of 350 global retailers are making a profit fulfilling digital orders, according to a new report by JDA Software and PwC. Factors including high delivery rates, the cost of returns and labor are all making it difficult for chains chasing after market share, which is increasingly going to Amazon.com.
