HHGregg announces HQ layoffs

HHGregg announced it will begin laying off workers at the company’s headquarters at the end of May with 269 workers getting pink slips. The consumer electronics chain announced it would close all its stores and lay off roughly 5,000 workers across the U.S. after failing to find a buyer for the business.
